Das menschliche Gehirn erzeugt verschiedene elektrische Wellen, die mit dem EEG gemessen werden. Ein \u00dcberma\u00df an Theta bei Erwachsenen wird z.\u202fB. mit Aufmerksamkeitsdefiziten assoziiert, w\u00e4hrend ein Mangel an Alpha h\u00e4ufig bei Angstst\u00f6rungen vorkommt.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Wirkungsmechanismus\"><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Wirkungsmechanismus<\/strong><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1584\" data-end=\"1850\">Neurofeedback nutzt das Prinzip der operanten Konditionierung: Wenn das Gehirn ein \u201efunktionales\u201c Aktivit\u00e4tsmuster zeigt, wird ein positives Feedback (z.\u202fB. ein sich bewegendes Bild oder angenehme Musik) gegeben. Bei Abweichung stoppt das Feedback oder wird negativ.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1852\" data-end=\"2023\">So lernt das Gehirn schrittweise, optimale Muster selbstst\u00e4ndig aufrechtzuerhalten.
